Local SEO: map rank grid, reviews, listings and Business Profile

Where you rank on the map, point by point, and why.

Local search is decided on the map. The map rank tracker scans a grid of points around a business and shows the position at each one, with the reason the competitor wins there: closer, more reviews, better category match, or a keyword in the name.

Review monitoring collects Google reviews with sentiment and themes, listing checks find inconsistent names, addresses and phone numbers across directories, and the Business Profile tools draft posts and review replies you approve before they publish.

What you get

Map rank grid

A grid of 5×5 to 9×9 points around the business; the local pack position at each, the competitor that wins it, and the reason.

Review monitoring

Reviews collected on a schedule with rating trends, sentiment, recurring themes and the questions customers ask.

Listings check and sync

Name, address, phone and hours compared across directories, with one-click sync through a listings partner where you connect one.

Business Profile posts

Posts drafted from your services and seasons, scheduled and published to Google Business Profile after your approval.

Review replies

Replies drafted in your tone for new reviews, queued for approval, posted from the profile.

Local keyword volumes

Search volumes for the city or region, not the country, when planning local pages.

How it works

  1. 1
    Add the location

The business name and address, or pick it from the map.

  2. 2
    Scan the grid

See the pack position at every point and who wins the ones you lose.

  3. 3
    Act

Fix listings, reply to reviews, post updates, and rescan to see the grid change.

What changes

  • ✓A map a client understands at a glance.
  • ✓Review themes that tell you what to fix in the business, not just the listing.
  • ✓Consistent listings across every directory that matters.

How it compares

Dedicated local tools cover grids and listings well. Serpified's grid explains each losing pin rather than only colouring it, keeps reviews, listings and Business Profile actions in the same project as the site's rankings, and is included in every plan.

Questions people ask

What is a map rank grid?
A set of points laid over the area around a business. At each point the tool searches as a customer there would and records the position in Google's local pack, which shows exactly where the business is visible and where a competitor wins.
Does it need Google Business Profile access?
Grids, reviews and listing checks do not. Publishing posts and replies does, through Google's OAuth with the business.manage scope, which you can revoke at any time.
Can I track more than one location?
Yes. Each location is a project, within your plan's website limit.
Where do the review sentiments come from?
From a language model reading each review for sentiment, themes and questions; the original text is always shown alongside.
